I have lots of memories of Michael. Our daughters knew each other before we did and then we became very good friends. Spent many a weekend going to football to watch them play with the famous sausage rolls all boxed up still warm and both of us helping out in the tea rooms. When not on the sideline we would spend time out walking, eating, drinking or just driving out to beautiful places for a coffee or two. If Michael was driving he had to have the roof down on the Mazda, no matter what the weather. Funny moment was when he called me up and asked to meet up for an early walk in the park with Ralph. Ralph had taken a ball from another dog and wouldn't let it go. After an hour of both Michael and I chasing him, the other dog owner who the ball belonged to gave up and left. We just stood and laughed, it was another 15mins before Ralph finally gave it back. Michael was such a lovable, funny and chatty man, always making you laugh, sometimes at the silliest thing. He was so proud of Danielle and adored he grandson, Reggie and was so happy that Danielle had found love and happiness with Sam. I am truly thankful that I got to spend quality time with Michael over the last few weeks, will miss him very much, especially our chats and fish and chip suppers. Michael you will always be in my thoughts. Sweet dreams xxx
